In meinen figurativen Arbeiten geht es nicht vorrangig um Menschen als Individuen. Vielmehr nutze ich die Figur als Ausdrucksträger für Themen, die mich bewegen – ganz gleich, ob sie persönlich, gesellschaftlich oder symbolisch sind. Was mich inspiriert, findet auf intuitive und spielerische Weise seinen Weg auf die Leinwand. 

Dabei ist mir wichtig, nicht an der Oberfläche zu bleiben: Die Abstraktion begleitet jedes Bild – mal deutlich, mal leise –, um Raum für Deutung, Gefühl und Tiefe zu lassen.

In my figurative work, it’s not primarily about portraying individuals. Rather, I use the human form as a means of expression for themes that move me – whether personal, symbolic, or societal. Whatever inspires me finds its way onto the canvas in a playful and intuitive process.

It’s important to me not to stay on the surface: Abstraction is always part of the composition – sometimes clearly visible, sometimes subtle – creating space for emotion, interpretation, and depth.
